At TASKA Prosthetics, we want clinicians to have clear, accurate and up‑to‑date resources to support every TASKA user.
To keep improving how we share information, we are updating the way clinician Instructions for Use (IFUs) are provided.
From 1 May 2026 printed clinician IFUs will no longer be included in TASKA hand packages.
Instead, each hand will include a small postcard‑sized insert with a QR code that links directly to the IFU page on our website.
This change means clinicians always have access to the latest version of the IFU, while reducing waste and keeping our packaging clean and simple.
What's changing
Inside each TASKA hand box, clinicians will now find, instead of a printed IFU:
- A QR code insert linking to the IFU page.
- A document number on the postcard that matches the digital file online.
- A simple graphic showing how to scan the code from any device.
Why we’re making this update
Always up to date
Digital IFUs can be updated at any time, this means that clinicians will always have access to the latest version.
Faster and easier to use
Online IFUs allow for quick searching and navigation, making it easier to jump straight to the section and instructions that you need.
Sustainability
Moving to digital reduces paper use, waste and the environmental impact of printing and shipping.
Smarter packaging
Removing the printed booklet keeps the hand box tidier and more streamlined.
This update applies only to clinician IFUs. User IFUs will continue to be supplied as printed booklets in every box.
If you prefer a printed clinician IFU, you can request one at any time through your TASKA distributor or by contacting support at support@taskaprosthetics.com.
