At OTWorld 2026, TASKA introduced a series of refinements to the TASKA CX™ hand, designed to deliver measurable performance improvements - without changing workflows, pricing, or setup complexity.
These upgrades, which are available on all new CX hands ordered from mid-July, build on a product clinicians already trust, strengthening real‑world performance while keeping everyday use familiar and straightforward.
Stronger grip force, where it matters
Through refinements to the internal components of the TASKA CX finger digits, the hand now delivers:
- Up to 35% more finger force (up to 23 N)
- Up to 20% more thumb force (up to 29 N)
- A 25% increase in carrying capacity, supporting loads of up to 25 kg
Together, these improvements support stronger, more reliable functional grips during everyday tasks, giving users greater confidence when lifting, carrying, and handling objects.
Importantly, these gains are delivered with a clear understanding that real‑world grip performance is about balance - combining force, grip selection, and surface interaction, rather than force alone.
New CX anatomic grip tips
All newly released TASKA CX hand packages now include CX anatomic grip tips fitted as standard.
Designed to follow the anthropomorphic form of a human fingertip, these softer grip tips:
- Increase contact area, providing a more secure grasp
- Incorporate micro‑surface features that help disperse moisture
- Maintain full capacitive touch functionality
The result is more confident gripping in both wet and dry environments, without compromising control or usability.
Built on trust
These TASKA CX refinements strengthen what clinicians already rely on - delivering improved performance and grip confidence, without compromise.
