Ending Windows Support for MyTASKA

MyTASKA is at the centre of digital innovation, customisation and control of the TASKA hand. As we continue to enhance the platform, clinicians and users will see a smoother and more capable experience that better supports real-world use.

As part of our ongoing improvements, we are implementing an important change to the platforms that MyTASKA will support in the future.

What’s changing

We have made the decision to end support for the MyTASKA app on Windows from 1 December 2026.

The upcoming August release will not be available for Windows.

After 1 December 2026, MyTASKA may continue to function on Windows, however we will no longer provide support or fixes for any issues that arise.

Why we are making this change

Stepping away from Windows support allows our software and development team to focus on delivering the updates that matter most to clinicians and users.

This shift in focus will help bring new digital improvements and strongly requested features to life more quickly, and ensure they align closely with the premium experience already available on iOS and Android.

By concentrating our efforts in fewer areas, we can deliver updates faster and ensure MyTASKA continues to grow in ways that support clinical workflows and build confidence for both clinicians and users.

What to use instead

MyTASKA will continue to be fully supported on:

  • iOS
  • Android

For clinicians, we strongly recommend using MyTASKA on an iPad for the best overall experience. The larger display, stability, and performance of iPadOS provides a smoother workflow during fittings, adjustments, and training sessions.
