We’ve just released our most exciting MyTASKA update of the year, with a focus on giving users more freedom and more ways to control their TASKA Hand.

MyoTriggers (MyoLock + MyoCycle)

You can now lock your TASKA CX™ hand or cycle through grips using MyoTriggers - no pressing of the button panel required.

• MyoLock lets you lock the hand using muscle movements alone - ideal for quick, hands-free control.
• MyoCycle allows you to cycle through up to five grips with a single MyoTrigger - reducing cognitive load.

This update introduces two new MyoTriggers - close long hold and close double pulse - used solely to lock the hand. Co-contraction and long co-contraction can now be used for either locking or grip cycling, while open hold and open double pulse remain dedicated to grip control.

Grip sharing

This one’s a game-changer - across all models, you can now share custom grips with other TASKA users. Whether it’s your go-to grip for holding a coffee or tying your shoelace, your own unique grip created in the MyTASKA app can now be shared with other TASKA users worldwide.

If you’ve created a grip that works perfectly for a specific task, this update makes it easy to share it - simply generate a QR code or URL in the MyTASKA app and send it on. It’s a great way to help others build confidence and a TASKA community to feel more connected.

Custom grips are also now quicker to create. You can start with an existing grip and tweak it to suit your needs, rather than building one from scratch.

This update is all about giving users more freedom, more control, and a stronger sense of community.
