As one of the premier gatherings globally in orthotics and prosthetics, the AOPA National Assembly brings together clinicians, manufacturers and industry leaders from across the country and around the world.
From 9 to 12 September 2026, Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada became the place where the industry connected, and TASKA was there to bring you the very latest.
This year our focus has been on what comes next, not just new features, but meaningful refinements that support stronger outcomes, greater consistency, and more confidence for both clinicians and users.
Our team shared product refinements, new capabilities, and ecosystem improvements designed to support better outcomes and everyday experiences.
These updates included:
- TASKA CX™ hand: our “Get a Grip” update, with up to 35% more finger force, up to 20% more thumb force, and a 25% increase in carrying capacity, supporting loads of up to 25 kg.
- CX Pro Grips: the performance grip tip that completes the Get a Grip story, uniquely contoured to optimise gripping performance and give users confidence in wet, dry, dusty or slippery environments. Both CX Anatomic Grips and CX Pro Grips are compatible with existing CX hands, come included with all new TASKA CX hand orders, and can also be purchased separately.
- MyTASKA updates: voice control with Siri on iPhone and iPad, giving users more ways to check and control their hand, plus a new MyoTriggers training game designed to help build skill and confidence.
Throughout the event, the TASKA team connected with prosthetists, clinicians and users from across the country and around the world, demonstrating what is new and talking through where TASKA technology is heading next.
