As 2025 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on what has been both a demanding and rewarding year for TASKA.

It has been a year that has reminded us of what it means to be human - to persevere, to innovate, and to stay grounded in a purpose that unites us. Above all, it has reinforced just how much we have to be grateful for.

To our TASKA users around the world: thank you.

To the clinicians, prosthetists, technicians, and allied health professionals who support them every day: thank you.

To our incredible TASKA team across the globe: thank you for keeping the mission at the centre of every decision, every challenge, and every breakthrough.

Our mission has always been clear - to redefine what is possible in upper-limb prosthetics by restoring meaningful movement and empowering people to live life on their terms.

Our mission began with HydroSeal™ Waterproofing Technology - a bold first step that established TASKA as the leader in delivering a solution for everyday life in multi-articulating myoelectric hands.

Water is part of daily living, and a prosthetic hand that cannot be used around it simply does not make sense.

That is the problem our founder, Mat Jury, set out to solve, and it continues to guide everything we do.

Today, thousands of users rely on the TASKA HandGen2 and TASKA CX™ hands every day. From the moment they wake up, they trust these hands to help them work, parent, cook, garden, travel, create, and live fully. That trust is something we never take lightly.

Has every part of 2025 gone exactly as planned? No, and I would be misleading you if I suggested otherwise. What I will share with pride is that you, our users and clinicians worldwide, continue to endorse our products - because we listen. It’s your support and unmet need that drive us forward year after year.

There have been lessons aplenty, and when faced with extreme or unexpected use cases, we have leaned in, listened, and learned. We have pushed ourselves to understand and solve tough challenges, some of which we never knew existed in real-world application, because true innovation is rarely a straight path.

Our mission is never finished, and we remain relentless in our pursuit to navigate the limits of design and mechanics so we can deliver solutions that genuinely improve lives.

This year, we also broadened how users can connect with and control their TASKA hands. We introduced new control options that recognise that no two people use their prosthesis in the same way. As part of one of our proudest community-driven initiatives, we enabled global sharing of custom user-designed grips, created by champions, enthusiasts, and innovators who continue to experiment with how to get the very best from their TASKA hand. It has been inspiring to watch the community grow, support one another, and push the boundaries of what is possible.

As we approach the holiday season, I want to return to where I began - with gratitude.

TASKA is the company it is today because of the O&P community who walk this journey with us: users, clinicians, distributors, partners, advocates, and our team. You inspire us, challenge us, and motivate us to raise our ambitions every year.
