The TASKA hand stores more than 20 Grip patterns. However, most day-to-day activities can be performed using just a small set of 3 frequent-use grips: GENERAL GRASP, FLEXI-TOOL and PINCER PRECISION GRIP. Here are just a few examples of how TASKA can enable you to do more each day:
The TASKA grip can be firm or delicate as you require, with a little practice it becomes intuitive.
Flexi-Tool grip is really helpful - this feature means you can hold just about any average sized utensil including your favourite kitchen knife.
This clip shows you just how 'touch sensitive' the TASKA can be. The thumb and forefinger are calibrated to give you the most accurate pinch grip and the unique finger pads help to grip.
The most powerful grip can be achieved with the thumb. This also forms a great grip platform on the side of the finger. Great for holding the paper or a pillow case.
Tripod Grasp is one of the most useful tools in the TASKA box. It's amazing just how many items can be picked up and held with just three fingers.
The grip provides great precision for picking up small items. Pens, dice, stationary...
An alternative to “General grasp”, the precision grasp allows thumb and finger tips to almost touch for small item pickups. This comes with the sacrifice of finger speed.
This grip moves the thumb out of the way so that the fingers can securely rap around the long edge of a book or tablet.
Holding round, wet or odd shapes is made so much more doable. TASKA's thumb rolls out of the way as the item is gripped for eating or peeling.
For general static hand positioning while walking.
Hold an upward facing bowl.
Use for remote controls or typing.
Looks pretty simple and it is - just point and tap and typing's easy.
For pulling clothes over your hand. Alternatively, use the general grasp in the close position.
As you become more familiar with TASKA, even more grip functions become intuitive.
A special grip when you have it mastered. The Grab ‘n’ go grip allows large handled items to be picked up with just the TASKA hand.
Perform left and right mouse clicks with the mouse grip. If you work at a computer or use one regularly, then this grip function is definitely designed for ease of use.
For use with light drills to give you that missing index finger action while holding tight with all other fingers.
For use with spray bottles or drills, hold and squeeze that trigger.
