Most myoelectric hands are suitable for light use tasks like dressing, meal prep, washing dishes with a glove on, using a computer, vacuuming, and shopping. Heavier lifting has traditionally required the use of a hook and having to change between the two can be a hassle.
How much more robust is TASKA™?
A lot. It is classed for Medium to Heavy ADL (activities of daily living). This includes mowing lawns, light chain saw, hedge trimmers, lifting up to 20kgs (not for long periods), light spade work, using in the shed, and washing a car, dishes, or laundry without a glove. It can also operate efficiently in high dust environments.
